About OAKS

OAKS is a Christian school that seeks to inspire its students to think deeply, live fully, serve unselfishly, and love God completely.

Our School

OAKS is a Christian school tucked away in the rolling hills of Southeastern Tennessee. It is located just minutes from Southern Adventist University in Ooltewah, TN, only ten minutes from Hamilton Place, and a scenic twenty minute drive from downtown Chattanooga.

Our conservative community believes that children should be allowed to grow up in an unhurried, yet richly enhanced learning environment… and we want JESUS infused in everything they learn. If the world’s self-centered messages to our families and young people do not appeal to you… OAKS may just be the place for your family.

OAKS is operated by the Ooltewah Seventh-day Adventist Church and is part of a world-wide network of elementary schools, secondary schools, and colleges & universities that include over 1,000 schools and 10,500 teachers.

Vision

Our vision is to:

  • Lead learners to know God and His Word.
  • Foster servant leadership.
  • Provide a caring learning atmosphere
  • Engage students through dynamic instruction that meets the needs of students with various learning styles.
  • Infuse technology into curriculum where appropriate.
  • Equip students with skills that help them succeed outside the classroom

Mission

Who are we?

Ooltewah Adventist School is a Christian school-family that fosters a creative approach to learning, models methods for walking with Jesus, and facilitates the discovery of who God created each child to be.
