Tournament Format: Scramble – 4-person Select Shot

All 4 players will hit a tee shot and then select the best positioned shot. The entire team will place their ball within one club length of the best shot. The same procedure will be followed on subsequent shots until the ball is holed. Each player is allowed to lift, clean, and place the ball while keeping the same condition the original ball was found in. You may not move the ball from the rough to the fairway or from out of a bunker.

MAX SCORE OF BOGEY
Bogey is the highest score. If your last hit, if holed, will give you a bogey, please pick up your ball and move to the next hole to improve the pace of play.

PLAYER TEE BOXES
Men: Blue
Men 60+: White
Men 70+: Red
Women: Red

MULLIGANS
Mulligans are available for purchase at registration, check-in, and during play at the clubhouse or snack stations. A ‘provisional’ mulligan enables a golfer the opportunity to replay a shot that went awry from the spot of the previous stroke without penalty. Provisional means he/she may use the first shot. Each player must declare the number of mulligans he possesses and announce the mulligan shot to his playing partners prior to play. Mulligans may be used anywhere including on the putting green, but may not be used to win any contests or prizes.

  • 1 Mulligan – $10
  • 3 Mulligans – $20

About JJ

JJ Wong was a cheerful 7 year old girl who loved her brother, parents, and animals, but most of all, Jesus. As a child, she committed a lot of Scripture to memory but most importantly, she kept it in her heart. A few weeks prior to being diagnosed with leukemia, JJ stated that “the first death is just not a big deal,” a statement that she is known for today.

Adventist education played an important role in JJ’s life and helped her face an untimely death with confidence. In her honor, her parents started a scholarship fund to help other students benefit from Adventist education at OAKS as well.

Message from Jeremy & Brooke Wong

Have you ever wished you could get a 100% return on your investment? When you give to Adventist education, you can!

Money given to Adventist education is not a donation, it’s an investment in eternity. Investments give students the opportunity to learn about Jesus in a warm Christian environment at Ooltewah Adventist School (OAKS) surrounded by staff that are committed to following and exemplifying the True Teacher during a child’s most tender years.

Both Jeremy and I (Brooke) benefited from Adventist education and have committed to sending our children to receive the same blessing. We have benefited from the financial assistance of others and now have the opportunity to give back.

We invite you to give generously, knowing that your gift will make a difference in the life of a child. There has never been a penny wasted on Adventist education!
